Liin from the So-Yalata family
About the book
One single decision can change everything — especially when you make it chasing freedom, while your fiancé quietly tightens the cage. And now, instead of freedom and rebel-filled swamps, you find yourself a prisoner with a magic-blocking bracelet, being transported on a ship whose captain sometimes hunts pirates… and sometimes demons. You're being taken to marry whoever the Emperor points to. Except somehow, you never quite arrive. Because the captain’s an adventurer, the crew is anything but ordinary, and as it turns out — Liin of the so-Yalat bloodline knew far less about her world than she thought.

lesia-litvisko06.01.2026, 19:38Thank you. I got immense pleasure from it. Especially from the incredibly witty remarks and scenes. I don’t regret paying for all three books. I’m going to start reading the second one and hope it’s as good as the first.

tetiana-limar08.05.2025, 23:56I still didn’t understand who Violet married. Did she marry her father’s protégé? And who did they do a favor for with that other bride? Somehow, it’s not fully explained, and there’s a kind of aftertaste.
tetiana-gurkalo09.05.2025, 03:19Tetyana Lymar, yes, Fialka is under her father's patronage. And yes, there's some intrigue there))
tetiana-limar07.05.2025, 05:19Chapter 18. I'm a bit confused about these family relationships. Why does the man with the surname Velivera look like Cadmia, when he’s supposed to be Yimil's father, meaning Cadmia’s lover? Furthermore, Yimil is illegitimate, yet he has his father’s surname. And anyway, who is his father? Well, the white-haired mage is clearly the father of the mage from the ship (I’m terrible with foreign names and don’t want to go back to another chapter). I’ve hardly read your books, but it feels like this isn’t the first book, as if these adult characters were mentioned somewhere before. Or is this just the author’s style? As I said, I can’t compare yet, since I’ve only read one book.
tetiana-gurkalo07.05.2025, 07:02Tetyana Lymar, from an outsider's perspective, they look similar, like representatives of the same ethnicity. The surname, because they know who the father is and he didn’t deny it. There is no previous book; information about them is scattered throughout this one.
tetiana-limar06.05.2025, 19:3116/2. Poor little soul with a carrot stick, and even poorer fiancés. If it's supposed to be some kind of carrot soup like Moro, it's absolutely awful.
tetiana-limar03.05.2025, 16:218(3) What a twist. Kidnapped! And how did the partisans figure them out?
tetiana-gurkalo03.05.2025, 19:38Tetyana Lymar, they met Liya by chance, but the captain was not by chance.
tetiana-limar03.05.2025, 06:20And is Kayar that nephew the captain met with? Because it's written in a way that seems like some facts are missing.
tetiana-gurkalo03.05.2025, 08:35Tetyana Lymar, it's him, he was ordered to drop everything and escape to the ship.
tetiana-limar02.05.2025, 21:54And I didn't quite understand, who is the father of the snake?
tetiana-gurkalo02.05.2025, 22:08Tetyana Lymar, not the emperor))
