As a teenager, writer Zorya Mangel dreamed of magical worlds – until one of them took away the person she loved most. Years passed. She made peace, moved on, and settled into a life where magic existed only in her books. That is, until one summer night when the past came knocking. Now the things she used to write about – magic, sorcerers, shapeshifters – come storming into her life for real.
