Abstract of the book "Beyond the Light"
Living the same day over and over, most people are certain about tomorrow. But what if something happens that defies explanation? Is the world we know truly safe — or does it hide far more than the human eye can see? The last bus leaving the city never reached its destination. It was just an ordinary accident... or so it seemed. Outside the windows — something is terribly wrong. Why did it happen? Where did these people end up? And why is one of the passengers hiding something?

katia-kupreicuk16.12.2023, 10:40To say that I liked it is to say nothing! The book is stunning! Such a perspective on the turbulent events in Ukraine through the lens of ordinary people's lives... through their involuntary heroism... Light and Dark... So logical. How much light do we have, and how much darkness? Who are we and on whose side? I sincerely wish you inspiration, new books, and grateful readers!
bogdana-malkina16.12.2023, 13:25Katya Kupreychuk, Thank you very much for your kind words!❤️
tina-nikitenko10.12.2023, 00:32Cool start. I like how tangled it is. First one year and city, then another city and year. Nice.
bogdana-malkina10.12.2023, 03:16Tina Nikitenko, Thank you!) It will get even more interesting further on, as everything is connected)
liudmila-jeros22.10.2023, 17:22Thank you for the book. At first, it’s really hard to remember everything, with different characters in different times. But once you get into the overall picture, it’s impossible to tear yourself away! Thank you for this fantasy, on the edge of reality. The only thing is, it seemed like the driver’s story would also be included, but he unexpectedly drops out of the plot...
bogdana-malkina22.10.2023, 20:12Lyudmyla Yerosh, Oh, thank you for such a wonderful review! I’m very pleased!! And the driver was just a driver)))
antonina-bugai14.10.2023, 00:24I read it in one breath. So captivating! Thank you for your work!
bogdana-malkina14.10.2023, 00:47Antonina Bugay, Thank you very much! I’m really pleased!
olena-kovbel02.06.2023, 12:18When I started reading this book, it seemed a bit boring to me. Different events in different cities and years didn’t form a single story (at least at the beginning, as it seemed). But as soon as these events started to form common connections, I became curious and eager to read on. Swallowing the next chapters, I forgot how it had initially seemed to me. And I’m glad I found this book and didn’t stop reading it. Its characters are so inspiring! After finishing, it was very hard to let them go, they touched my soul so deeply. Bohdana, thank you! You are the creator of my wonderfully spent time. Keep creating, keep writing, you do it so well, and I will gladly read your next books.
bogdana-malkina02.06.2023, 12:30Olena Kovbel, Thank you so much for such wonderful words❤️ This book was written with great inspiration and joy. If it weren’t for the war, the ending would have been completely different. Probably, a happier one. But everything happened as it did...(( At the moment, I’m mostly writing romance novels, as I don’t have time for fantasy stories((( But I plan to return to them in the future, when my child starts kindergarten and I have more free time! Thank you for your support❤️
iana-zincenko21.01.2023, 23:30When everything ends, please write a continuation.
bogdana-malkina21.01.2023, 23:33YANA Zinchenko, I don't think it's necessary here. An open ending is exactly what was needed at the time when the war had just started. But I’m endlessly glad that you liked the book❤️ Perhaps, someday I’ll get around to writing the love story of Adam and Olga.
alina-korotko20.08.2022, 20:44Thank you very much for the book!! Wishing you peaceful skies! Inspiration to the author!!!

uliana-melnicenko-romaniuk16.07.2022, 23:50Wow. At first, I didn't want to read the book because I usually don't read this genre. But there's a first time for everything. I don't regret reading it; it's wonderful. And the ending is something else(((( Thank you!!!!!
bogdana-malkina17.07.2022, 06:31Ulyana Melnychenko Romanyuk, Thank you very much for your feedback! The book is indeed not as dark as it seems at first glance. I understand that the creepy cover is to blame for everything. I think it scares readers a bit. In any case, it's nice to know that the book is interesting)))
alina-skintei15.05.2022, 20:31Congratulations on the marathon! I also came to visit you a bit late) You've had my star for a long time now. The cover, tags, and annotation complement each other perfectly, everything feels mystical, mysterious, and enigmatic. I'm very glad that the story is completed. So, my congratulations to you twice! Wonderful implementation of the idea into text, it's evident that the author has worked hard on the story. The text draws you in from the very first sentence. The dynamics are combined with great descriptions, and the imagination paints literally every word of yours. Additionally, I want to note the writing style - pleasant, easy to read, precise, with a special charm in the blending of timelines. I particularly appreciate this in stories. Wishing you inspiration, creative success, and grateful readers!
bogdana-malkina15.05.2022, 21:50Skintey Alina, Sincerely thank you!) And the same to you!)
martin-stark14.05.2022, 22:42Oh, dear, congratulations on finishing the book. When you win the contest and your book gets published, I'll be the first to run and buy it)) At the very least, I'll be rooting for your victory! Keeping my fingers crossed))
bogdana-malkina14.05.2022, 22:54Martin Stark, Thank you for the support!)) I would love to win, but I don’t really believe in it... There are so many good books among the participants. And I’ve only familiarized myself with a few of them. Even if I don’t win - I still have this book, and that’s already a huge achievement)))) Thanks again for everything!
galina-levter08.05.2022, 23:29Hello. I'm from the marathon. I've read various books of yours, but I avoided this one. The cover scared me off. I don't like certain genres in literature... But here - if you call yourself a mushroom, you have to get into the basket. And, as a result, I keep reading and reading! Unusual, vivid, and mysterious! The stories intertwine into a tangle, creating a feeling that I missed something important, so I go back to reread, searching for the hidden! Definitely, the book is worth reading and deserves grateful readers!
bogdana-malkina09.05.2022, 04:09Halyna Levter, Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the book! I will definitely stop by to see you. Sorry for not responding in time!
xolod-vlada08.05.2022, 09:27Hello from the reading marathon) The cover is nice, though the text could perhaps be made a bit larger. I generally liked the synopsis, but there is one nuance... I felt it lacked a certain highlight specific to this story. Something more than just general phrases, a particular detail. Plot-wise... It's mysterious and quite intriguing, enigmatic, and it visualizes beautifully in my mind. The style is light and easy to perceive. Overall, it's interesting) https://booknet.com/uk/book/blog-z-togo-svtu-b388417 — I'm waiting here if you haven't written yet)) Thank you))
bogdana-malkina08.05.2022, 12:43Holod Vlada, Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad the book interested you!) I've already read your book and left my review, I liked it too)
tia-kuz07.05.2022, 12:53Hello from the marathon) The title, cover, tags, and genres blend wonderfully and create the right atmosphere. There's nothing to nitpick here) The synopsis is good, but I would like a bit more information about what will be in the book. About the book. Honestly... I'm in shock. Because this book is completely not my genre. Moreover, I'm afraid of stories like this and during the marathon, I sometimes force myself to read. But yours... It became the first one I couldn't tear myself away from. You have great talent. Because I didn't pay attention to anything except the story of the book. So, as an author, I have nothing to say) Only, as a reader of your book) I will read it with pleasure)
tia-kuz07.05.2022, 14:58Bohdana Malkina, Happy that you liked the idea))
angelnik06.05.2022, 18:55Greetings from the reading marathon! I liked the beginning of your story! It's dynamic and mysterious. My imagination vividly paints the descriptions of events. In particular, I could clearly picture the minibus and the driver with his passengers. The boys who want to hit the bird and the girl's sincere desire to protect it. I literally felt how much she cares about it, which means the author managed to convey their intent to the reader, putting effort into working on the story. The scene when Yura visited the mysterious house also succeeded in turning the text you wrote into a detailed image. I would also like to positively note the inscription with the date and place of events at the beginning of the chapters. In my opinion, it adds intrigue, just like the described events. Each chapter is like a puzzle piece that should eventually form a complete picture, and if you manage to bring them together according to your plan, I think it will be great. The cover is nice and adds a sense of mystery - I liked it. As for the tags, I think everything should align with the plot. The annotation, though short, with phrases that add mystery, can encourage readers to dive into your story to uncover its secrets. My first impressions of the plot are pleasant!
bogdana-malkina06.05.2022, 19:14Angelnik, Thank you so much for your feedback! I hope I really managed to blend the storylines well. I'm glad you liked my story. Tomorrow I will read your book as well. Thank you!
