In ancient times, a witch might be burned at the stake. But that's not how things are done anymore. A modern witch is condemned to life. Yet, is she truly guilty? Or to put it another way: if not her, then who? And why? After all, she wasn't condemned for witchcraft... Is she even a witch at all, or did she perhaps inherit it? Is she the only witch in this story, or is the one who lived three hundred years ago also involved? How can you abandon this case when you yourself are a victim? And not just a victim... What will you become in the end? Is it a natural force guiding you on this path? Does it have a purpose connected to the distant past? Why does it seem as if someone is deliberately suggesting solutions... and offering new friends? Who could it be... or what?

Today, you can find companionship and arrange dates through the internet. You can weather an epidemic in a sanctuary beyond the virus's reach. You can forge an "all-inclusive" haven far from the madding crowd. But can seclusion from the external world truly shield you from intrigues so devious they'd confound Machiavelli himself? Do individuals unbound by law truly preserve their integrity, or do they shed their very humanity? Is the only fatal threat truly the virus... or has danger already claimed a gruesome toll? Everything must be unraveled... but how do you emerge from it alive? Let the reader determine if this is a realistic detective tale or one tinged with fantasy. In life, discerning the line where reality blurs into fiction, and vice versa, can often prove challenging.

Dragon. A legendary creature? But what if it existed, and this is confirmed by historical science? What really happened in the city several hundred years ago? The last victim of the dragon—who was she? Did she manage to escape? And can this be seen from the civilized twenty-first century? As for people... Have they changed over time? Do they still gather in packs to hunt down a single individual? Do they still betray those who trust them? Do they still find pleasure in the suffering of others? Perhaps all of this lies dormant beneath a thin veneer of civilization, ready to surface as soon as a reason appears—such as a dragon...?
