About the book

One “wonderful” day, despite all the rumors and news, the king survived. A day turned into a week, and threatened to become a month. I was forced to take a step that changed everything — to reveal myself to my husband, to become a true wife. Now it is the two of us against the whole world. And against the gods. Only Ramet has placed her bet on me. And something tells me I cannot afford to let Death herself down.

A wonderful, emotional story of Adele... court intrigues, mysteries...

The story is very interesting and captivating. Adele is shocked by the king's words that she will be betrothed to another man, because she is already married.

The king is resilient, or there was no poison. Now he will be very cautious.

The Ukrainian translation is not proofread, there are a lot of errors.

Both as a fellow writer and as a reader, I’m thrilled! Overall, it was intriguing to see how the author would resolve things, as the tension was palpable until the very end. Thank you so much, a wonderful story with a beautiful ending for this couple!)

And so I’ve finished reading, it was incredible. I think the cover and title of the series don’t convey the seriousness of the work at all, though maybe that’s for the best, a greater surprise effect)

Thank you for the incredibly fascinating trilogy. I am amazed by your imagination, the vast number of characters, and events. At the same time, the storyline remains intact. I really enjoyed it, read it in one breath. Wishing you and your Muse endless inspiration.

Thank you sincerely! Great ending. I'm upset that I finished reading so quickly. Now I’ll be glad to dive into the continuation of the trilogy, but with different business characters!

I rarely write comments or share any impressions at all, but this series is something incredible. It has plenty of everything necessary and very, very little that feels superfluous—or rather, I’d say that even the “superfluous” here is “just right” in my opinion. For me, these three books are like one, and oh yes, they are in no way inferior to those “overseas” “hot bestsellers.” Oh yes, that’s why I would gladly buy a physical copy of the book. Yes, some questions are not fully explored, and there’s a slight lack of detail in some of the final episodes, a lack of that “savoring” feeling, but! If the book were compiled into one volume and printed, I’d be the first to buy it and place it on my “favorites” shelf, which isn’t very large, and from the Booknet platform, this would be the only one to earn that honor. And not because the others are worth nothing—no, they are wonderful for passing the time, “diving in,” and getting distracted. But I consider this series the best of everything I’ve read in the last two years. P.S.: I would really love for the covers of these books to be different, ones that could at least partially convey the “depth” one gets from reading this series. But this is purely my perspective, so if I might have offended the author, I apologize and thank you for the incredible day I spent reading this cycle!

Kateryna StolyarSincerely thank you for such a high praise! I don’t even know how to express my emotions right now, because I’m sitting here smiling. And like a fool, I’m rereading your review for the third time. Straight to the heart, Kateryna ♥
