I've read it for the 5th time already. I got sick... wanted to distract myself from the illness, and then I came across a link to this book.)) I managed to distract myself!) I cried a couple of times from the feeling of admiration for the loyalty of Katya's close ones, what wonderful friends she has, and her mom, what an amazing book. Ms. Inna, I wish you endless inspiration, patience, strength, happiness, joy, and love in every day.

Idealizing a rapist is just cringe. "Ukrainian women are a national treasure," but raping them is somehow normal? Or "just once doesn’t count"? And if Katya hadn’t been strong and had taken her own life? Would he just say, "Oh, tough luck"? Such people should be locked up even for one time, even just for an attempt. Disgusting.

It's impossible to read this book!... and not leave a review, because the emotions swirling inside me won't let me abandon this matter! Bravo, author! Incredibly emotional, well-written, yet so easy... you just dive into the writing and lose track of time! I really like Zakhar, the main character, he's something else, I understand why Zakhar is such a cutie (there should be a smiley face here). But the author unpleasantly surprised me by sending the MC's mom to clients with "sosi," while her son, a volunteer, is buying reconnaissance drones for the army. I would like to believe that the author will change this, out of respect for Ukrainians.
