Abstract of the book "Concubine of the Dark Lord"
Some words are considered forbidden for a reason. I did not want to marry an unloved person and in despair I uttered an ancient curse. Because of this, I found myself under the power of the Dark Lord, the most powerful sorcerer in our world. He came for me. Well, my wish came true. But then I did not suspect what the real payback for my reckless words would be... The first part of the "Dark Lady" dilogy.

kateryna-verniuk04.09.2025, 10:49Good afternoon. The book is wonderful: interesting, easy to read, everything is beautifully described. I know I might get some hate for this, but I have to say it. I really wish that the book description included such an important plot detail as sexual violence. It could be veiled or phrased differently, but at least hinted at somehow. I understand that for some people, this is perceived as normal and doesn’t interfere with enjoying the book, but there are others who don’t expect such a plot twist, and it can be very triggering (especially for those who have experienced it). I know some might say that it’s those people’s problem, etc. But a small addition to the description could immediately let vulnerable readers know that this isn’t their kind of book. I hope I haven’t offended anyone, as that wasn’t my intention. Thank you for your work; I read half of the book in one breath, but unfortunately, I couldn’t continue further due to psychological reasons.

Most of those who shared their opinion agree with you (although the lack of an appropriate trigger warning didn’t generally prevent them from reading). So, thank you for writing; at least I learned about the flaws in my own perception - and it only took two years of the book’s existence))) By the way, if you liked my style but want a book without this kind of trigger at all, I recommend reading "Trial by Love." There’s more psychology than erotica, but the story is interesting, in my opinion.
