A Con for Two
About the book
Oliver never planned to get involved in other people’s problems — especially when they involved dangerous men and a lot of money. But everything changes when he saves Lina, a mysterious girl trapped by her father’s shady dealings. She’s entangled in schemes that cost her freedom, and now she’s being hunted by Andrii Hromov — a dangerous man with unfinished business with her family. By helping Lina, Oliver risks everything: his safety, his friends, and eventually, his heart. She’s too clever, too dangerous, and maybe not who she claims to be. But when their lives become part of a game where the stakes are too high, he realizes — there’s no turning back. And now, their only chance to survive is to outplay the enemy at his own game.

arina-shablinska31.05.2026, 14:46I'm reading chapter 4 here. And it's kind of weird with the names, "…Lina said that Oliver will eat, Lina slowly ate…" and then Oliver asks what this runaway girl's name is and she says "Marina-Rina", so where did this Lina come from?)
iren-klark31.05.2026, 14:58Arina Shablinska, Now I'll explain. Those who read this story back when I just started posting it know that the heroine was originally named Lina. But after some time, when I started the first editing, I realized that I have two books in a row, and both heroines have the same names. Of course, I could have left everything as is, but I decided to change the name specifically for this heroine. So I sincerely thank you for helping to notice such inaccuracies. I've already fixed everything.

nataliya-parfenyuk20.04.2026, 03:58I will continue reading your books. Talk to you later)))
nataliya-parfenyuk20.04.2026, 03:57So there! The series is dynamic and interesting! The stories are written in a good style, reading them is enjoyable, not boring. The third book was no exception; on the contrary, it became a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy with shared characters, which added extra points in emotions. And on top of that, a big bonus—the books are free! And that’s very nice! Thank you!
