About the book

In an age where women are worth less than men, Ursula and her friends seek to gain a foothold in power through manipulation and the art of seduction. After spending half her life preparing, Ursula finally receives the opportunity to restore the honor of her mother's name and take revenge on her father through the son she raised as her own, but who is not her blood. Ursula will use all her charms to bring down Lord Beaumont. Of course, she didn't expect to find two things: that the man is already in love, and that he's a rather... peculiar lunatic.

Congratulations, five years ago, I stumbled upon this platform by chance. This series is the third time I’ve started reading it; it’s one of the best I’ve read here, highly, highly recommended. That’s why I’m reading it for the third time. I love each one of your books. Congratulations.

No matter how many times I read it, I always laugh and cry like the first time. When I read the memorable phrases or chapters like the dance where Úrsula imitates Bari's way of speaking or Bari's painting classes haha. The one that makes me cry is the revelation of Úrsula's painting; it breaks me.

Poor Bari, as a child, his condition already carries many burdens, his inability to understand the confusing world of human emotions, added to that his fear of his cruel and brutal father.

Sometimes I hated Christoph, the so-called friend of Bari. He knew that Ursulita went to take revenge on her father by harming his adoptive son, and he just stood by as a spectator, not caring whether the father was guilty or not.

Once again with the perfect and majestic Úrsula haha. It's back to laughing at her explosive temper and her peculiar Bari with his frank and simple responses that sometimes offend and at other times create misunderstandings haha
