About the book

She was young and inexperienced when she met him. Tall, handsome, confident, and charming. He possessed a mischievous smile that made her knees buckle. For her, it was love at first sight. For him, it was just a fling on his vacation trip. She gave herself over with love and passion. Fascinated by all the emotions and sensations that awoke in her body, she didn't stop to consider the consequences her actions could bring. Weeks later, sitting in front of the toilet, expelling everything that entered her stomach, she began to understand that there are decisions that mark us and that once made, there is no going back, because when his mother finds out about the fruit growing in her womb, she will consider it a disgrace to her family's good name and will do everything to cover up the offense.

I have a doubt... in the end, Paulina never found out that it was her mom who told everything???

C15: The only one who had feelings was Alfonso... Paunlina never wanted him in the past, at least not as a man.

C23: Bernardo never loved Berenice, it was just passion. I think he was also one of the biggest traitors... if he had really wanted to, he would have fought and waited for Berenice to tell him face to face that she didn’t want anything with him. It’s foolish to think that letters were enough, knowing that she was locked up. ;(

C22: I don't buy the story that she only wanted to support her friend... she still betrayed Berenice in the beginning...!

C19: No matter how much Paulina always seems to be good, I can't fully like her; in the end, she was the one responsible for everything, even if it wasn't her intention...!

Very nice story, although poor Berenice, I wish she had changed and been happy because she also suffered a lot and made bad decisions.

I think Paulina broke her pact and with that came all the problems. Berenice was a victim of her parents and her supposed friend; she deserved for Bernardo to love her again upon realizing the deception.

For me, Berenice was the only one who suffered, and Bernardo did love her, but with everything that was done to them, he really had to settle. As for Paulina, I feel like she did realize that all her so-called happiness was thanks to her mother. I would have liked Paulina to die for being a hypocrite. Anyway, it had to be a novel. Success and thanks for your talent.

Very nice story! But at 55 or 60 years old, one is not elderly.

The one who shouldn't have died, died; bitterness can lead us to make bad decisions. It took me a while to get the hang of your novel, but in the end, I was able to understand it. Keep going.

Lovely, but too much focus on Berenice. I thought here the story of Mariana and her son would unfold. I loved learning about the stories of Dani and Alfonso, Paulina and Bernardo, Paulina and Gustavo, but you gave too much to Berenice, who already had a lot of prominence in book 3. Lovely novel, let's go for the 5th.

Hey Sandra, I didn’t know you! You write wonderfully. Hey, poor Berenice, I know she went to the dark side and it’s no justification, but wow, she had it really rough, so much pain, betrayed not only by her love but also by her friend (I kind of dislike Paulina, to be honest). She lost it so much that she didn’t even care about hurting her brother, oh no, that’s awful... Bernardo also rubbed me the wrong way, to be honest. He didn’t really love Berenice (he wouldn’t have gotten over her so quickly), and his lack of love drove her crazy. Such an unfaithful pair (Bernardo and Paulina). I mean, Paulina is really nice and sweet and all, but I don’t know, I just don’t like her, although I do feel sad when she’s all depressed about being widowed. I also feel compassion for the other poor guy, what’s his name? The governor’s son, will we ever know what happened to him?

What a great story, I loved it. It could be a super Mexican soap opera. Congratulations!!!
