About the book

In an unfortunate turn of events, Rouse will have to live with her boss, the insufferable Black Donovan. Although it seems like the situation couldn't get any worse, that boss is her ex, or rather—in her own words—a quickie not worth adding to her love history. He's the man she detests with every pore of her skin precisely because it yearns to be caressed by those haughty fingers and that mouth that have always labeled her viperous and a bully. They can't stand each other. At least that's what they convince themselves of every time they try to find an explanation for those intense glances and the palpable tension between them. The only thing that separates love from hate is something much thinner than a line. Even more so when they live under the same roof.

Sophia, I have read numerous very good stories, but this story of Rouse and Black is magnificent. I have cried, I have laughed from beginning to end. You have an excellent narrative that allows us to immerse ourselves in it. Thank you for sharing with us, and may your inspiration continue to bear fruit.

The story is good, but it takes too long to finish. When you start something, you should finish it. Here, there are many writers with responsibilities who still manage to complete their stories. You need to put everything in its place, organize your time and space. There's little left to finish it.

I loved this book, it's different and unique. I must confess that each chapter evokes a different emotion, and sometimes I felt so identified with it that it made me cry. It's simply beautiful, I loved it so much that I read it in 2 days. It was tough between work and my things, but it was truly worth it. I'm grateful to the author for the dedication in writing each chapter. I hope to keep reading great stories like yours!

I have no words to describe all the emotions this book has awakened in me. I have laughed and cried so much! You are a great writer! Not everyone who writes manages to reach so deeply with words as you have done with me. It's a shame that I can't enjoy all your works.

Poor Black, Rousse told so many lies to push him away that now they haunt her.
