A very unconventional plot. The beginning of the story is almost unrealistic. What Inna came up with can hardly be called a sensible idea. I think that if deep down Lukyan didn’t have some feelings for Taya, he would hardly have agreed to such a crazy venture, which would even be difficult to formalize legally. In the end, everything turned out for the better for Taya and Lukyan - it seems they were truly made for each other. But I still feel sorry for Inna - not specifically in this situation, but in life in general. Growing up as an unloved child in the family, feeling like an outsider... The desire to be better than her sister in everything turned into hostility towards her. It’s good that Inna found her happiness in another country. Perhaps Lukyan, at some point, really became a kind of trophy for her to prove her worth to her "non-family" family. Emotionally and psychologically, this is a very complex story. Just like in life, there are no perfect or completely negative characters here. There are their actions with expected or unexpected consequences. Thank you, Ustyna, for your books that bring joy in reading and encourage thinking and analyzing.

Such an emotional story. The heroes had a long journey to happiness, but they suffered so much that I don’t want to discuss their actions. Whether they are ethical or not. The main thing is that everything works out for them in the future. At first, I wanted to superficially blame everything on Inna, but she remains a deeply traumatized child in her soul, whom no one understood. Ms. Ustyna, the novel is wonderful, you showed such a complex life and how a grandfather’s action can affect the fate of his grandson. Thank you for your creativity, it makes one think.

Finally, I waited for the end of the story and read it all in one go. Emotions are boiling inside; it all started with such a cruel agreement and ended with love.
