Abstract of the book "Thin Ice"
For the sake of love, Oleksandr crossed the line of friendship — and was ready to give up his dream of becoming a hockey star. One mistake cost him the girl he loved, but brought him everything he’d ever worked for. Hockey gave him it all: a comfortable life, recognition, fame. It became his everything — and life itself turned into a game. He thought he’d learned to live without Alevtyna. But returning to his hometown after seven years awakens the feelings he thought were long buried. Everything begins to repeat: the love, the rivalry with his former friend... And once again, he must choose — between his heart and the game. Or keep skating on thin ice.

iuliia-mixalina09.01.2026, 14:31Svitlana Fetsych, Sincerely thank you!❤️
nataliya-parfenyuk30.11.2024, 08:31I thought I’d take an emotional break after the thriller, but no chance. This contemporary prose of yours has wrung out my entire soul. You’re a master at twisting plots, I’ll tell you that. And still. Thank you
iuliia-mixalina30.11.2024, 21:42Nataliya Parfenyuk, Thank you, Natalya, for the emotions! ❤️ Oh, yes, this book is emotionally challenging too...
ivanna09.09.2024, 09:16With tears in my eyes, I started reading this book to distract myself from my mother's death. Without knowing the text beforehand (because I never like reading summaries), I read about the death of another mother, this time of a little boy. To say that I started crying even more is an understatement. The deeper I delved into the text, the more my own grief got lost somewhere between the lines. I laughed and cried along with the characters. Thank you for such a heartfelt work. For the understanding that the world hasn't stopped or ended after grief, and that it's worth moving forward no matter how hard it is.
iuliia-mixalina30.09.2024, 15:57Ivanna, Sincerely thank you for sharing your story and emotions❤️ I'm glad that despite the difficult beginning, the book was able to comfort you and perhaps give you some inspiration. Hugging you tightly!
alla-polishhuk04.07.2024, 19:36They met after so many years and can't talk about the past... acting like children... everything would fall into place if they did... in real life, this doesn't happen, they just talk...
iuliia-mixalina04.07.2024, 21:44Alla Polishchuk, if such misunderstandings haven’t happened in your circle, then you’re lucky, but that doesn’t mean they don’t occur. I know plenty of real cases where much older people ruined everything due to their inability to communicate.
anzela-ceked21.06.2024, 20:16Thank you! Very interesting story! I really liked it! Wishing you creative inspiration!
iuliia-mixalina23.06.2024, 09:42Angela Cheked, Thank you sincerely! I'm glad you liked the book❤️ I’ll be happy to see you under my other books))

liuda-gula14.08.2023, 06:42Very cool story! I'm thrilled. It reminded me of the series "Youth Team," I used to love it a lot.
iuliia-mixalina16.08.2023, 00:25Lyuda Hula, Sincerely thank you for your feedback!)) I'm glad to know that you liked the book and it touched you))

iuliia-mixalina06.08.2023, 15:34Tamara Myronova, thank you for your attention to the book! Oh, it's a bit difficult with the continuation for now, but I will definitely write it))
elena-korostyleva09.06.2023, 07:14I really liked it! You write beautifully, and the plot is interesting, not overdone! I'm surprised there aren't more stars, maybe the hockey theme scares some people off a bit) I recommend reading it, you won't regret it! Wishing the author inspiration and strength!
iuliia-mixalina09.06.2023, 09:52Olena Korostyleva, Sincerely thank you for your comment and wishes! It's very nice to know that you liked the book!))❤️ I tenderly love this story precisely for its plot and for hockey)) It might be off-putting to some, but I deliberately delved into the details and wrote all the scenes because I wanted maximum immersion in the topic)) Feel free to check out my other stories, I’ll be glad to see you there!))
inna-trifanenko21.05.2023, 17:16Another well-spent time))) Somewhere, after Anna's act with the doping, I felt that this was Sasha's fate)))) Thank you sincerely for the emotions!!! And by the way, it's so educational from a sports perspective. It's like I read a manual for playing hockey)
iuliia-mixalina24.05.2023, 18:41Inna Tryfanenko, Cool)) I'm glad I managed to convey the atmosphere like that)) Thank you!))
sofiia-viterec13.02.2023, 00:21Thank you for such an incredible book))) So many emotions overflowing) And most importantly - your attention to the smallest details is impressive) The hockey nuances are so well written...)))) And the book itself is like those success story movies I've been a fan of all my life))) It shows the true values that really matter to people) And a special thanks for such an ending) Honestly, I just hated Alya for all of it and I'm so happy for Anya and Sokol)))
sofiia-viterec13.02.2023, 13:00Yuliya Mikhalina, ❤️❤️❤️
selene-evance31.01.2023, 18:14It's good that Alka understands her mistakes, but it's bad that she and Sashko are so hot-tempered that they can't come to an agreement and talk like adults. That's what learning to communicate is for! But he came to make peace. That's something to work with.
selene-evance31.01.2023, 19:14Yuliya Mikhalina, Just like everyone else)) now it's her turn)
selene-evance16.01.2023, 20:46Oh, Sashko, so many thoughts! Men experience emotions just as much as women; they are human too, not soulless robots (at least I hope so, heh). Hockey couldn’t save or ruin Grandma Anya. It’s about age, time, it’s all relentless. And Alka. If she wanted to, she would have fixed it. If she wanted to, she would have called. Don’t take all the problems on yourself, Sokol, because they will drag you down to the ground.
selene-evance31.01.2023, 14:56Yuliya Mikhalina, fantasy... I'll think about it))
selene-evance30.01.2023, 08:47Oh, these uncontrollable jealousies. Though I can understand Sashka, because he was never sure of Alka's feelings. And now, when they’ve gotten so close... Especially on such a sad day, everyone’s nerves are on edge, so he snapped. Alka... I find it harder to understand her, I still can’t figure out what games she’s playing and how Knyaz is meddling in this with his two cents.
iuliia-mixalina31.01.2023, 14:26Selene Evance, Anything is possible))
selene-evance16.01.2023, 20:40Oh, I can really feel how hard it is for Sashko. Everything at once: his father, the matches, Alka, Knyazev, and the proposal. I would also give up on everything and leave if I were in his place. The only thing is that his grandmother will be left alone here, that's a problem. But the opportunities! Opportunities are there, where he will be valued, and not here, where most people don't care about him at all.
iuliia-mixalina16.01.2023, 21:44Selene Evance, We'll definitely manage without drugs))
