Roman pulled away abruptly and leaned back against the seat. “I’m sorry,” he breathed. “I had no right. I think you should go home now.” Home? Was he mocking me? I’d been dreaming about kissing him for more than two months. And just when it felt like my dream was finally coming true, he pushed me away. “Please, sweetheart, just go home,” Roma repeated, seeing me open my mouth, ready to argue.
