Abstract of the book "The limits of decency"
This story happened not so long ago, in Ukraine. When I heard it, the first thing I thought was — IT DOESN'T HAPPEN LIKE THAT! The heroes have difficult fates, an ambiguous environment that requires compliance with certain rules in order to be DECENT PEOPLE. However, we often do not notice the difference between "BEING" and "APPEARING". After talking more with the narrator, I realized that I wanted to write this story down. NAMES and PLACES OF THE EVENTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED.

The characters are alive, interesting, the dialogues are genuine, the plot is captivating, and it makes you want to keep reading. There are many conflict moments and disagreements between the characters, just as it is in real life. That's why the book is so appealing with its realism. Thank you! Were the apartments on Belaruska in building 5? Because 7 and beyond are Khrushchevkas. And why did you need to take the metro from Nyvky to Belaruska if a tram or minibus would be faster, especially considering that you need to get off at Beresteiska, formerly Zhovtneva. You could even walk there.

I read the comments and realized that everything is relatively okay with Liza (because we are in Ukraine, and there is a war here), and I can’t ask for more details. For some reason, I was worried about her; I would like to know if she was able to trust men again after this and build a relationship. I was also curious about the fate of Zlata’s brother and Arthur’s brother (the one who married the neighbor friend). And in general, a huge thank you (once again) to the characters for allowing their story to be told, and thank you to the author for writing so interestingly (and usefully).
