The Heart of the Lion
About the book
He is the uncrowned king of their city. The Lion King. Cold, ruthless, and utterly alone — a man who sees everything through the lens of profit and power. But even principles can shift… when a stranger appears in his fortress. She is the youngest daughter of a noble family — the one everyone mocks for her strange passions, the only one who still holds onto a truth others have trampled and forgotten. Can she become a queen and win the heart of the Lion? Or will she be forced to live as a submissive servant instead? The answers to these questions will shape not only her own fate… but something far greater.

elen-mohn04.06.2025, 15:00To the author's attention. The character's name is Lev Ruban. And he bears his stepfather's surname. But for some reason, the stepfather is named Valentyn Kostiuk.
ustina-cal04.06.2025, 16:12Elen Mohn, Yes, my mistake, the stepfather's last name is incorrectly stated. But Lev's last name is Tokar, not Ruban. Thank you, I will correct it.
nadiia-skripka24.05.2025, 23:05Thank you for another literary masterpiece, Mrs. Ustyna. Orysia captivated me with her wisdom in dealing with the events in Lev's life. Thanks to her, Lev managed to stop his revenge against his stepfather in time. Orysia's understanding and support helped him believe and open up to his wife. At the same time, Lev doesn't give in to emotions; he soberly assesses the situation with the kidnapping and saves his family in time. Orysia subtly noticed that the good heart of the man is as if in a protective shell. And not everyone is given the chance to see the true face of the Lion King. Thank you once again for the wonderful story and wishing you creative inspiration, dear Author.
