The King of Elendor has taken everything from her: her family, her home, her title. Lucy is left alone, locked in a small room, surrounded by the torment of a curse and endless darkness... But the darkness speaks. It calls itself good. It says it will help her take revenge. It promises great power. But does Lucy really need revenge? Or maybe her salvation is fire? All the characters are almost the same "inside" (yes, they have different stories and seemingly different behaviors), but it feels like it's all one soul speaking through different bodies and different circumstances. In other words, the main characters and their motivations are poorly developed, and consequently, so is their behavior... Sometimes the main characters do things for which they receive no consequences from the universe at all - and that’s just completely illogical... Adults and children can’t have the same behavior and the same punishment for their actions.... Because of this, I constantly stumble while reading. There are no romantic storylines at all - only adventures. (Yes, it seems like someone falls in love, but again, without any motivation). I liked the adventures themselves and this universe. Thank you.
