I'm heading to chapter 24, I can't stop reading, you have me completely hooked on the story. Yesterday I read until 1 in the morning, that's how engrossed I am with Chiara and Alexei.

Regarding the symbol of the snake, it is Egyptian and Greek. Meaning: It represents eternity, the cyclical nature of the universe (creation-destruction), the unity of everything, and perpetual renewal.

As a good gossip, I looked up who the painter was who wasn’t really a painter but a poet, doctor, astrologer, teacher, writer, and philosopher born in Florence.
