For some reason, throughout the entire story, I was waiting for an explanation of why Vova developed such preferences. In my opinion, there should be some psychological component to 1) dominating, 2) speaking harshly. Because phrases like "shut up" or, I think, "slut" personally grated on my ears a bit. This is not about judgment, no-no, the format of the book and the character definitely worked for me. I just wanted to understand where this came from in him - by design, is it a reflection of his relationship with Yana, or was it before that? But the book is top-notch!

Here, it’s more about showing the depth of sensuality in relationships and building trust in a couple. Why isn’t Vladimir’s backstory revealed in this book? Because this book is about Sonya. About a girl who lived in her own world and how she opened up while discovering herself. Regarding dirty words, yes, this is a very common phenomenon among men as an expression of emotionality in the moment. For many in a couple, it’s exciting because it falls into the category of forbidden by the norms of normality. A certain boundary beyond which we free ourselves from taboos.
