Heiria is a world where you can tell whether a person is gifted or ordinary by the radiance and color of their hair. And how strong the magic of a particular wizard is. The brighter the color shines, the stronger the wizard. He is a shadow man whose hair is dull and whose magic is weakened by the curse of his family. She thinks she is an ordinary healer, but in fact she possesses a rare gift of life that her parents, now deceased, hid. He will find her to use her gift to save himself, offering protection from the dark forces that hunt her. Their bargain will change the fates of both and reveal new secrets of the magical world, and the feelings that arise will put them before a choice - to give in to them, casting aside all prejudice, or to reject them, destroying the world.

By the time I got to the middle, I started skimming chapters diagonally because in some of them, essentially nothing happens, just descriptions of everyday life and the same emotions going in circles. It gets boring because of this, even though the book's concept isn't bad.

But I am filled with admiration for how a true man comforts and reassures the victim, telling her that she is not dirty or ruined... it is so valuable and therapeutic, if I may say so... Reading this was hard, but this fragment deeply resonated with me. I am sincerely grateful that the author showed in this story how one can be a true man and support a victim of sexual violence. Even if it's not a real story. It still resonates strongly!
