Abstract of the book "Out of the Darkness"
Eva Ortiz lives in the most dangerous neighborhood in her country, surrounded by hardship, insecurity, and financial scarcity. Her family is a total disaster: her parents are alcoholics and her brother is involved in bad company. She tries to keep her environment from consuming her. What does Eva do? She works delivering lunches at the Palace of Justice in Caracas. One day, she was not in the right place at the right time; her brother committed a crime for which she took the fall. Detained at the police station, she recognizes the lawyer who will defend her. She remembers him. He is the enigmatic, most famous attorney in the Court, the respected and adored William Arévalo.
