Not Your Typical Elven Girl
About the book
All elven girls are cold, flawless beauties who easily break hearts? Well, I’m living proof of the opposite — or maybe just a defective elf? Extra weight? Check. Scheming relatives who want me dead for my father's inheritance? Got them too. And to top it all off — a cheating fiancé. But I’m not about to play the victim. After all, I am an elf! And I didn’t study at the Academy of Magic for nothing. In this story you’ll find: a plus-size elven girl who’s anything but typical; a treacherous fiancé with a hidden agenda; murderous relatives vying for an inheritance; an insufferable (yet irresistibly attractive) partner; a magical mystery to unravel; a journey from ugly duckling to graceful swan; adventure, secrets, and just the right touch of humor.

vycheslavovna12.02.2026, 07:43Gwyneth is the stepmother, and Treza is the stepsister, but the caption under the photo got them mixed up, right?
marina-snizna16.02.2026, 09:00Vycheslavovna, thank you for such a detailed review) Regarding the illustrations - the neural network doesn't always convey what I would like. So, I choose the closest option. As for your questions: - about the party: Lenora didn't want to offend the person who showed her kindness and helped her on the very first day of her arrival. So, she agreed to the party. - about the stepmother and Bailey, they didn't get the house or Lenora's father's money, so they were left with nothing. The heroine won't cross paths with them further. - about the vampire, more will be revealed in the second and third books) - about the boy, I might have overlooked that moment.

kateryna-karpenko25.12.2025, 20:48Second attempt to read this author, and I dropped it again. It's well-written. But for me, it's too slow-paced. The main character annoyed me a bit with her obsession about being an elf in a body. It was jarring because it was inserted both relevantly and irrelevantly. Everyday fantasy, but it didn't hook me. Didn't finish it.
