Abstract of the book "Northern Ghosts"
I love life too much to give up and comply, you've got the wrong girl! But, as it turned out, I perceived the world around me the wrong way, so the truth harshly pulled my head out of the sand. And of course, when I was not ready for it at all. And all because of a friend whom I wanted to save. According to Murphy's law, one single meeting changed everything. The guy who unexpectedly took care of me, this impudent, arrogant rich prick, turned out to be not quite human. But the strangest thing was what I encountered in the north. A pack of werewolves abruptly changed my fate, filling it with emotions and feelings. Is it possible to survive separation and loss by entrusting your heart to someone you hardly know?

anzela-romancuk23.08.2025, 14:21Oh, I feel so sorry for Christian, and that Hannah realized her love for him so late. But the ending pleasantly surprised me, they met. Thank you for another interesting story, for such vivid characters!!!

leta-evgeniia02.09.2024, 22:03So, Christian calculated everything) and waited for his beloved. Thank you for this unusual story, it was interesting and exciting. I don’t even know which of the guys to prefer, Chris or Yanis.
lavanda-riz02.09.2024, 23:39Leta Evgenia, Chris also loved her very much) Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I'm glad you liked the story!

lavanda-riz01.09.2024, 11:47Tetyana, I’m very glad that you liked the story! Thank you so much for your kind words and attention!
pavel-goncarenko29.04.2024, 01:13In the end, I see this story as: Hannah loved Yanis very much in this life. But ultimately, she chose to be with Chris in the next life. And, most likely, in future lives as well, because I doubt that after such a sacrifice, he would ever let her go. So, in my opinion, Hannah still ended up with Chris.
lavanda-riz01.09.2024, 11:47Pavel Honcharenko, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your thoughts and impressions after reading!
pavel-goncarenko29.04.2024, 01:12And overall, I want to say that blocking the memory of who you really are, erasing your identity, blocking the memory of your abilities—that’s disgusting. Tim, in the first book, was already walking the edge of morality when he meddled with Eric’s feelings and seemingly removed them (though, judging by Eric in the second book, he didn’t remove them, just dulled them). But in the end, it looks like he made the breakup a bit easier for Eric, took away the pain. Fine, the act is morally gray, but whatever. However, Yanis did something much worse. To make life easier for himself and his beloved, he dug somewhere very deep into Tim’s relationship with himself. You know, maybe I’m overreacting, it’s just... There are Russians who are trying to erase the identity of Ukrainian children. To remove their memory, to block it. And this somehow resonated with me. I don’t know, overall, this act feels very wrong. I’m not even mentioning that Tim’s son will sooner or later remember everything because he met Evelyn. Which means his father will remember too. And the relationships between the families will be much worse than they could have been because of Yanis’s actions. This might even affect the start of Sam and Evelyn’s relationship. Overall, well done, Yanis, yeah.
pavel-goncarenko29.04.2024, 01:06But what really got to me in the story towards the end was Yanis's action. I mean, when he erased Tim's memory of... himself. Firstly, all this memory erasure stuff looks kind of strange. Did he also erase all data about Laura? And the documents? And the information from the cameras? Let's assume all of this was accounted for. But Tim and Nicole's story is largely explained by Tim's special abilities. You can erase or block someone's memory of yourself and your abilities, but you can't block their ability to reflect or ask questions. Furthermore: here’s Tim, who doesn’t remember what he’s capable of. What if he starts unconsciously using his abilities without even realizing it? And if it’s about Yanis blocking his abilities as well, then he’s putting Tim and Nicole’s lives at risk, since after the events of the first book, they’ve made a lot of enemies. Tim built his defense on the fact that he’s not an ordinary beta. And in the end, there might be many weak spots in it. Ones he won’t even be aware of, because he doesn’t understand that something drastic has changed in his life.
pavel-goncarenko29.04.2024, 01:00But I was a bit puzzled by the world-building moment: in the first book, there was nothing about marguls or the curse of the she-wolves. And in the second book, for almost the entire story, it felt like awakening was the only way for wolves to have children (at times, it even seemed to be stated as such). Only at the end of the story did it become clear that this curse affected only the northern wolves. And here, a question arises for me: why then put the lives of the awakened at risk? If only part of the pack was affected, it would be logical for wolves from the northern regions to take she-wolves from other regions as mates. Of course, this doesn’t negate the tragedy, but it would paint a completely different picture. Otherwise, it feels like at the end of the second book, you remembered that the second book directly contradicts the first in terms of the she-wolves’ ability to give birth.
pavel-goncarenko29.04.2024, 00:52Hello! The series captivated me with its interesting world and vivid characters, although, to be honest, I liked the first book more. And I got the impression that Erik never forgot his Nicole, just as Hannah never forgot Chris... And, essentially, it turns out that in eternity, she chose him. With Yanis, they were together for just one life, while Chris tied himself to her for the next one... And I doubt he will let her go afterward. To be honest, in both cases, I already wanted a throuple relationship. Because it felt like... I don’t know, the story of Omega and Erik seemed somewhat pale compared to the story of Erik and Nicole. And Hannah, no matter how much she loved her wolf, in the end, never really gave up on Chris.
alena-gusak23.01.2024, 23:48Good evening. I bought it a long time ago, but only started reading it now. It's interesting in its own way, not ordinary. I had to reread some parts because I couldn't understand them. As always, it's beautifully written. Thank you. P.S. I'm getting back to reading Bidosi and the General)))
lavanda-riz24.01.2024, 10:58Alena Husak, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your attention to this story! I hope Bidosya brings you a good mood!)
olena-syomka02.01.2024, 11:46I'm reading and reading and... Epilogue. I was a bit surprised that the book is already over. And that's because the story is incredibly captivating! Thank you, Lavanda, for the amazing love stories!!!
olena-syomka21.01.2024, 11:23Lavanda Riz, After reading "The Pack," I understood Erik's story and why he spoke about Nicole with such tenderness. For some reason, I feel sorry for him. Although Erik met an omega, in my opinion, his love for Niki remains. Thank you, dear Lavanda, for these (as you call them) fluffy ones :)
