Perhaps happiness truly is short-lived. Just as Viktoria and Stanislav finally manage to mend their complicated relationship, he goes missing once again. Now, Viktoria is left to stand alone against her aunt. Her godfather does what he can to help, but it’s not enough—she longs for her beloved husband to be by her side. Worn out from constant worry over Stanislav, Viktoria falls ill.
