Abstract of the book "New Year’s and Christmas Tale. Part I"
She escapes to her grandfather’s village, running away from an aunt determined to marry her off to the son of her best friend. He still can’t recover from the loss of his family. It’s been two years, but it feels like yesterday. Hoping to find a moment of peace and to visit his parents, he also heads to the village. Viktoria’s friends hatch a wild plan to help her: by midnight, they will find a decent man willing to pretend to be her boyfriend and save her from her aunt’s schemes. As crazy as it sounds, the plan works. Viktoria isn’t thrilled about it, but she knows it’s the only way out. Now, by her side is a man she could only dream of having—but will this “easy” solution truly be so easy? And will it help her in her fight against her aunt?
