Polina always hid her feelings for her brother's best friend, because to Ivan, she was just like a younger sister. Moreover, she was strictly forbidden from interacting with him because of his bad reputation. But that didn't stop her. She sought every opportunity to be close to Ivan until he started to realize that her presence meant much more to him than he could have ever imagined.

I got hooked on the first sentence and couldn’t tear myself away until I finished reading, though of course, I had to take breaks since I needed to cook. I understand Polyana’s situation so well because I also grew up in a family of educators, and back in the last century, family rules were even stricter. But even then, there were girls like Ksyusha—such perfect little mommy’s girls. This isn’t the grumbling of an old hag, just stating a fact. I really liked the work, and the theme is very relevant: he or she is not from the right family, not from our circle, not on our level. They don’t even want to know anything about the person themselves—their achievements, aspirations, or soul. They just slap a label on them: bad, not the right kind of person, and that’s it. Thank you for the interesting book ☀️❤️❤️

Some moments, due to the similarity of life situations, make me recall my past and at the same time inspire deep reflections (for example, the story about the tragedy with Polina's friend, Ulyana)! At such times, I step away from the text and think about what I’ve read and the emotions that arose after reading. I believe this is very important for a writer - to be able to find the key to the reader’s heart, to evoke the right emotion! This shows the author’s skill! I say this from the bottom of my heart because I never write insincere comments! I’m even a little envious of your mastery;)) In a good way:)

Yeah, the story is told from both perspectives: Ivan's and Polina's - that's great, I love it because it helps to see the story from two sides!

I got so engrossed in reading that I didn’t notice how the day passed! Your book is very, very interesting!!! More interesting than some printed editions I spent my time on and, unfortunately, was disappointed by. But your book definitely hooked me, and I’m almost at the finish line! Finally, they kissed! And the fact that Polina is an admin adds a nice twist to her character, and they did a great job exposing that teacher! At first, I thought that teacher would be Mila’s father, but I guessed wrong :) I feel sorry for Gosh, I wonder why he got into drugs? Maybe there will be an explanation later.

An interesting type of main character. But I wouldn’t trust a person who cheats on his girlfriend. Why have a girlfriend then - break up with her. No matter how she is. Because it makes you think that if he cheats in this relationship (especially if it’s for some purpose), he might cheat in the next ones too. The only hope is that he will improve and change for the better.

Hmm, I expected the story to be focused on Polina, as mentioned in the announcement. But after reading 2 chapters, I only see Ivan. Though, perhaps that's for the better, because it triggers intense brain activity in me trying to predict future events. And for some reason, it seems that this Mila is not as simple as she appears, though I could be wrong :)
