I loved it when he defended her and helped her get out of the abuse from her brother and ex-boyfriend. Anyway, I loved the ending of the story and this one is going the same way. I remembered that in the end, the lawyer traveled with a young girl, as Matthew said when he saw him, and now I imagine it might be her, Claudia.
