Annabeth and Luther are completely unconventional characters, but that only makes them more beautiful. The chapters about their childhood, about his care when she was sick, bring a smile and warmth. Their love was and is maddening and wild; it's so sad that he caused her so much pain. This fact made me feel sad until the very end of the book, but our Annabeth forgave everything because their bond was stronger than anything, even when James destroyed it. I understand that it was also hard for Luther himself; he was haunted by the struggle between the dark side of obsession and human feelings and love. Despite all the mistakes, he loves her, proved that he can be different, and made her happy. And their little son, that was pure happiness in the epilogue. Thank you sincerely for the book, Lavender ❤️

But this turn of events really changed the situation for the better, and I'm glad it ended this way (although I wouldn't mind reading an alternative ending to the book where the choice fell on another character).
