About the book

“I now pronounce you husband and wife…” Those words made Lesia feel even worse than she had before. The trap had snapped shut. “You may kiss your bride…” “No…” The word escaped Lesia’s lips, but when she saw her grandfather’s stern yet satisfied expression, she bit her lip. Still, she could no longer hold back the tears. She squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself for the moment this peasant—now her lawful husband—would start kissing her wildly. Like a predator claiming its prey, driven into this hateful… trap. But instead, Amir simply embraced her and whispered in her ear: “We’ll save the kisses for later. For now, try to calm down and put on a happy face. It’s our wedding, after all—not a funeral.”

Chapters 5, 6, and 7 are printed twice. Do you think this makes the book more interesting, or are you just meeting a page count goal?

The plot is interesting, but the stupidity and, as it turned out in the end, the mercenariness of the main character ruined the "aftertaste."

An interesting concept for the novel... but the delivery is so simple, "primitive"... the same thing is repeated 10 times, it feels like the main characters are a bit dumb... It's a pity, I couldn't finish reading it... Clearly, it's not for me... But I wish the author success! May you have grateful fans and mostly positive comments.

Great, amazing story! I read it in one breath, couldn't even stop during work! So emotional and dynamic, it somehow reminded me of my favorite Turkish series, passionate and fiery. Thank you to the author! )

Silly girl Lesya. Who cares about all the deals her grandfather made. Fate has gifted her such a great guy! Moreover, she’s already married to him! Amir loves her, solves all her problems, and yet Lesya keeps dreaming of a divorce. Her stubbornness is astonishing. In one word, "ATHLETE". And the book is well-written, I like it.

Lesya clung to her Plan A and you couldn’t drive her away even with a broom)) Stubborn to a fault, and fiercely independent to the point of madness. It turned out that both characters annoyed me because Lesya is naturally shortsighted, and Amir plays the fool) That’s how they came together) But if you dig deeper beyond the vanilla of the romance, or push it aside, some pretty serious issues are touched upon here: childhood traumas that ruin adult life, aggression and disrespect in the family, and so on. Ms. Svitlana, thank you for the story and I wish you inspiration!
