Abstract of the book "Love in Secret"
Alice sought to break free from her manipulative and controlling mother, and upon receiving the acceptance letter from a top Swiss university, she asked her father for assistance. He promptly contacted his close friend, Oskar Baumann, to arrange for Alice to stay with him. Oskar was delighted to welcome his goddaughter into his home, at least in theory, given that it had been over five years since they'd last met.

bertha07.02.2026, 16:31The novel is good, I liked it, but if you don't read the other novel, you don't really know what happened in the end between Oskar and Alicia. In my opinion, even if it's an extra, you should have included it here because it doesn't say that you have to read "The Price of Love" to understand the ending. Similarly, in this one, you suddenly talk about how her dad Danilo already has a partner, but in the extras, it feels like it's just starting. If you haven't read the previous one, you don't know what it refers to. I hope it's not like this in Juliette's sister's story.
