Rarely does a book manage to keep me in such suspense! Phew, I had to stop a few times, unable to keep reading due to anxiety for the characters. The author pulled it off. Of course, I was hoping for a happy ending after all this... but... I'll take a breather and decide whether to read the sequel or if I can handle it without Damian. A special thanks to the author for avoiding clichés like "he thrust into her flesh with his hot rod" and so on. Although, to be honest, there were too few love scenes. Thanks again.
