About the book

Her words kept circling in my head, refusing to fade. And beneath the surface, anger churned—raw, relentless. I despised myself for the desire, for the weakness that led me to her. Every glance, every stolen moment—we should’ve never crossed that line. She was never just a woman. She was the enemy. From the very beginning, she stood against everything my family believed in. I was supposed to stop her, not fall under her spell like a fool. And yet, here I am, torn between duty and the echo of her touch. Maybe the real question is— was it worth listening to my heart, even if it meant turning my back on everything I thought I knew?

Thank you to the author! The story is very intense, filled with the characters' experiences and emotions! One should never give up or carry resentment in their heart, and especially not revenge! We must keep living and let go of any situation, otherwise love will never enter the heart, and peace and harmony will never come to life! I wish this for everyone! Peace, kindness, and tranquility! Inspiration and health to the author! P.S. I first got acquainted with the story of Nicholas and Alexandra, a very touching story that I even liked a bit more! But Tom and Margo made me reflect on other life values! Thank you again! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!

I read the book a long time ago, but only now decided to write a comment. I read it back when the book was just being published. I don’t know why, but it was hard for me to read. Both characters were going through some heavy emotions. They tormented and broke themselves. Perhaps that’s why it was so difficult for me. By the end of the book, it got easier: for me and for the characters. Thank you for the interesting experience.

Yevheniyait's never too late for such sincere, heartfelt feedback) And I cherish every word) Yes, the story is unconventional, and so are the characters) But that's what makes it interesting) I share your emotions - writing it wasn't easy for me either, but I truly love the characters)

Thank you sincerely, dear, for the incredibly pleasant book that I’m thrilled about. I’m genuinely happy for the characters who stayed together, as I couldn’t imagine it any other way. Thomas and Margaret deserve it, as both have tasted a pound of bitter salt. Margaret fell in love, but as it turned out, she was used and left devastated, while Thomas was also used, after which he saw every woman as a vixen and dreamed of revenge. This couple is like fire and water, passion and hatred, madness and burning pain, tenderness and bitterness. Thanks to their hatred for each other, they learned what it truly means to be loved and happy. Tom and Margaret fought for this love and went through many trials on their path. After all, only for true feelings can one go to the end if they are mutual. Thank you, Martinochka, for the emotions this book gave me. Wishing you pleasant readers, crazy ideas and plans, satisfaction, and an ocean of positivity and inspiration❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow! I can't understand, what muse bit Nicholas? What happened to him?

YevheniyaThis is a consequence of the post-traumatic syndrome that Nicholas suffers from. Stress, nerves, and as a result, a breakdown. Margo just became an accidental victim.

Hmm... I’m not sure who’s to blame here and who isn’t. Thomas’s behavior is unclear to me: he’s furious because Margo didn’t tell him about the child... Maybe, after finding out about it from someone else, he should have just asked Margo herself about it? Instead of throwing around words like “Margo is such a liar, she used and deceived me.” He didn’t even try to understand her, to realize why she didn’t tell him herself; he only cares about his own feelings. He doesn’t even consider or want to understand what Margo went through or what choice she faced. It’s very easy to blame someone for all the sins. In my opinion, he acted, to put it mildly, foolishly, like a true egoist. Let’s see what happens next!

YevheniyaIn my opinion, there is no winner here. Both Thomas and Margot are confused and should just talk. Perhaps, by working together, they can find a way out. Until then, as long as each of them has their own truth, it will be hard to change anything. Let's see, the characters are very unpredictable)
