His Fifth Sin
About the book
She was his first — and only — love. He was just her game. Worlds apart in status and ambition, but bound by an undeniable pull. They were married for three months. Then she returned the ring… and left him with a scorched heart and nothing but doubt. “I want you.” Kostya choked on his coffee, coughed, and froze, staring at the confident woman across from him. Beautiful, but dangerous. A cobra in heels, poisoning his mind and striking without mercy every time she came within a hundred meters. “As a detective,” she clarified. “I know you can uncover the truth, even in hopeless cases. Especially since all of this”— she gestured around his sleek office —“doesn’t just land in someone’s lap. Unless your father’s a politician.”

galinka15.03.2024, 02:34This is just awful, so much trouble because of two people - Vlada's father and the mentally ill Orest. And Shcherbakov joins the company. I was very worried about Ptashka and Kostya, I really want them to finally live peacefully and happily.
iuliia-mixalina15.03.2024, 10:04Galynka, That's how it is, unfortunately. Often, just one person can ruin the lives of many. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!))❤️

katiy-palianychka05.02.2024, 14:23Wow… I don’t know what to say. The book is written very well, the plot keeps you on edge the whole time, even though I guessed some key plot points in advance, it was still interesting to read. And it’s also very realistic. The characters feel alive, and a special thanks for Vlada, she is real and strong. Very often in novels, women are either “girly-girl” or “I can do everything myself,” but here she is so authentic that it’s almost scary. Complex, emotional, and just a person who has suffered a lot in life but kept holding on. Thank you.
iuliia-mixalina05.02.2024, 18:46Katiy Palianychka, Sincerely thank you for sharing your thoughts and emotions!❤️ I'm glad to know that it was interesting and that Vlada touched you. I love such complex, yet real heroines. It's great that I managed to portray her in this way)) Thank you❤️
nataliya-parfenyuk11.12.2023, 07:55The conditions in which the characters found themselves are simply horrific; there's no point in judging them. Watching their actions was not easy. I was so emotionally invested in them that I physically felt unwell, especially at the end of the book. Everything is described very realistically; you believe in the circumstances and feel as if you're nearby, observing them. As for the ending of this book, it's clearly not a happy one. Hoping for the second book. Thank you
iuliia-mixalina11.12.2023, 12:56Nataliya Parfenyuk, Thank you for your attention to the book and for sharing your emotions from reading it❤️ This is always very important for the author)) Yes, the story is quite complex, and ahead, in the second book, they will also face a difficult path, but in the end, a happy ending is guaranteed❤️
torika-reader14.11.2023, 23:38This book is definitely about sins! And you can't count them on the fingers of one hand. Still, it's about life, even if it's fiction. Vlada didn't evoke disgust or judgment in me, even at the beginning when she seemed like a complete bitch; it felt like there was some story behind it, worth figuring out. I won't spoil anything so as not to ruin the mood for those who are just joining. I'll just say that Vlada will surprise you, and not only in a pleasant way))) Honestly, Kostya will surprise you too. He's completely different here compared to in Vira. In some ways better, in others, the opposite. But he's alive, real, human. I'm not a fan of such trashy stories, but Yuliya made me fall in love with her characters. It's impossible to tear yourself away. I don't know the secret yet, maybe it's because she loves them herself? Because that can be felt❤️ I'm grateful for this book; it fills me emotionally, despite the complexity of the events described. I'm running to the Temple because the ending is such that it leaves no other options❤️
iuliia-mixalina25.11.2023, 21:18ToriKa Reader, Sincerely thank you for such an incredibly nice review!))❤️ I'm blushing, happy that the book and characters touched you, and I'm glad that Vlada didn't evoke negative emotions from the start) I have a soft spot for trashy events, but I truly love my characters dearly, even though sometimes the events might suggest otherwise)) Thank you again, hugging you tightly❤️
larisa-chelter17.09.2023, 14:14I don't like the heroine. It's because of women like her that good men disappear, lose everything, turn to alcohol, and then can only talk about how all women are bitches. I have no sympathy for this person.
iuliia-mixalina29.09.2023, 14:54Larisa Chelter, I just associate books about rich kids with a rich hero and a plain Jane heroine, but here it's somewhat the opposite)) And the social inequality of the characters is the basis of the plot) If Vlada were on the same level as Kostya, they would have gotten married, had children, and everything would have been great for them))
iuliia-mixalina16.09.2023, 14:08Hello, my dear readers!❤️ You are currently in the first part of the dilogy “Temple of Sins,” which tells the story of Kostyantyn Krapivin, likely known to you from the novel “Faith in Your Love” as the main character’s friend, and Vladyslava Shcherbakova. The book can be read separately, as a certain stage in the heroes’ lives will conclude here. But if you want to learn the full story, take a look at the novel “Temple of His Obsession” after reading “Sins.” I’m sincerely grateful for your support, for all the stars, likes, purchases, and comments! If you have something to say about what you’ve read, please share)) You are my inspiration!❤️
inna-turianska11.09.2023, 09:08Yulya, I'm reading and there's a lump in my throat... though I understand that it's most likely Orest's trick. I feel the most sorry for the little one, I really pity the child who seems to have grown up and is holding up alongside everyone else.
inna-turianska11.09.2023, 12:53Yuliya Mikhalina, Haha))
lara-rosa11.09.2023, 00:54Poor Kostyk. And he believed it? He pulled off a similar trick himself. Poor guys...
lara-rosa11.09.2023, 09:22Yuliya Mikhalina, I'm catching it))
