Yes, sometimes due to misunderstandings and small mistakes or prejudices, we ourselves lose what is most important to us. Luka kept trying to save his relationship with his beloved, without offending her with accusations against her stepfather, while Zlata believed in skillfully distorted facts of betrayal. It’s sad and incredibly true to life, Martino. I want to believe that in the second book of the dilogy, Luka and Zlata will manage to understand each other; they definitely deserve to be happy!
