About the book

Nyla was told she would be Nolan Rutherford's wife the day she began to understand the world. Her father had been Mr. Eugene Rutherford's chauffeur, and after his death, the family raised her as their own daughter. They groomed her to be the perfect wife and married her off to the Rutherford heir. Nyla was an exemplary wife and a devoted mother to her one-year-old daughter, until one day Nolan asked for a divorce, confessing that he had met another woman. He gave her money to leave quietly. Only six months later did Nolan realise what a gem he had lost. But Nyla already knew: he did know how to love… he just never loved her. "I tried to save our marriage," she said, "but now there's nothing left to save."

Well, both of them messed up big time, but anyway... we have to see how each one longs for company because they don't want to be alone. Nyla claims to be strong and not need anyone, but her babies do. Despite everything, she's falling back into the same pattern as before, just with someone who says they love her because he's already old. And Nolan, because he's still immature, now manipulative because he pretended to have forgotten, and that's not how it is... let's see how much they destroy each other and if Nyla can really handle what's coming with the old man.

Well, in part, Nolan is right. Besides, Nyla was already thinking about taking away shared custody from Nolan just because that old man asked her to, because that's how it was. She herself had said that she wanted her children to know their father and live with him, and suddenly, just because the little old man gives her some moments, gifts, and sweet words, she forgets that her babies have a father.

A rather difficult answer, but whether or not she is divorced from Nolan, she would be immensely rich because she is a resilient human being full of love.

That Nolan has gone crazy, lost his senses... he can't force Nayla to love him if he only sees what he wants and has no idea what she wants.

I'm sorry but I don't trust Tom!!! There's something about him that doesn't add up, and besides, the homewrecker could harm the babies, and no, no, no... but I prefer that Nyla doesn't marry Tom. She needs affection and love, but better with someone else, or if it comes down to it, if he manages to become a better person, then Nolan, who is the father of the babies.

Oh Nolan, your soul is going to drop to the floor, but zero romanticism and where did the courtship go?

mmm I think it would be great if, at some point, Nolan shared custody of his children with Nyla, since at any moment if she decides to travel or for whatever reason, their father could take care of them too... although, between us, there's something that leaves me in doubt about Tom. Being family of the homewrecker makes me a bit distrustful, and I prefer to prevent rather than regret, because, after all, they are babies.

So we went back again. ??? Is Nolan the protagonist or not? Because with so many chapters already and he still doesn't think about giving up? What’s going on, Ashleh? Explain to us, please.

It can't be possible that we're again with such slow updates, this story is already getting boring, I think she's more focused on her English novels.

I will definitely wait until it's finished... what a tangled novel.

Wow!!! What irony, first he belittled her and did everything possible to not spend even a second by her side, and now he wants to fix it just like that when he wasn’t there during the pregnancy, the birth, the first 12 months, and Melanie’s first birthday, out of nowhere, because all that time he spent with the homewrecker mistress. Now that she’s shown her true colors, he wants to recover what he himself ruined as if nothing happened... what an idiot.
