Abstract of the book "From a Lie to Love"
A marriage of convenience falls apart when neither can stand the other anymore. Emma ends up on the streets, penniless, after her husband wins the divorce case. Armand thinks freedom will bring him happiness—until his grandfather demands an heir. There are three brothers, all lazy and self-serving, so their grandfather imposes a condition: to inherit, they must not only be married, but also complete a grueling three-month trial working on the farm—without giving up. Armand decides to fake still being married and heads to the countryside. He strikes a deal with Emma: if she helps him, he’ll give her a portion of the inheritance. She agrees, having just discovered she’s pregnant. Her plan is simple—go with him, earn the money, and disappear before he ever learns about the baby.
