Abstract of the book "Fated for the Vampire"
It all starts with a party. Another night, another shift, just routine for Felicia, a waitress used to blending into the background. But after that night, the shadows seem to follow her, and stepping outside feels… wrong. A chance encounter pulls her into a world where regret is a weakness and monsters don’t always hide their teeth. “So… is this your usual thing? Kidnapping unconscious girls?” “Let me think,” he said, furrowing his brow. “You’re number ten tonight. I’m falling behind. Need two more.” His voice dripped with mock despair, and as he sighed and looked away, it was as if her fear didn’t even register.

diana-paraniuk06.11.2025, 04:01Please tell me, when will the continuation be?
anna-nestorova07.11.2025, 01:24Diana Paraniuk, Hurray, it will be called "In Love with a Vampire," before that, "The Dancer" will be released, it's a short story for a contest, also about vampires, but it has no connection to "The Chosen One," just so you know)
bnm28.08.2025, 09:56Interesting story....would like to see a continuation
liubov-kozlova28.04.2025, 21:24It's a pity that the second part isn't out yet. Because by the time it is, you might forget the plot. That's why I don't really like reading unfinished works. Although the book is interesting, with intriguing events and unconventional characters. A complete book always garners more attention and satisfaction. That's just my taste. Wishing you inspiration to release the continuation soon. Best of luck in your creative work.
bozena-kviten27.02.2024, 00:44Greetings from the marathon! Nice cover, concise and impactful annotation. The events unfold dynamically and interestingly. I like your writing style and rich language. Judging by Felicia's dreams, her "initiation" was not accidental at all :) The minor errors that occur do not spoil the overall positive impression at all. Moreover, I see that you plan to edit. Wishing you success, inspiration, and grateful readers.
sofiia-viterec25.02.2024, 09:08Hey from the marathon))) Interesting approach to a plot that seems familiar to everyone))) You managed to present the story in a new way) Or maybe I just rarely read books with mystical elements)))) The descriptions are pretty good))) Although I’d like some kind of wow effect right away))) The story flows so slowly, and the vampires are somehow too kind and proper, even though there’s never been a concept of them respecting rules) And okay, a host helping a girl who fainted makes sense, but vampires rushing to help a nobody waitress... I’m a bit skeptical))) Again, they seem overly nice in your story)))) The cover is mysterious, but I feel it’s a bit incompatible with the title) Like, there’s not even the slightest hint of vampires or that it’s meant for someone) I really like the blurb))) It’s intriguing, presented with very apt words))) Inspiration))))
dana-n17.02.2024, 10:17Good morning to you from the marathon) The cover is beautiful, the font is original. The annotation immediately sparks curiosity. The atmosphere is well-crafted; for some reason, I can just picture the characters as if through the haze of smoky candles in candelabras) I liked how the author reinterpreted the age-old vampire plot in her own way. Judging by Felicia's strange dreams, it seems she didn’t just end up "in the wrong place at the wrong time," but rather has long been connected to this, without realizing it until now... There are a few errors – for instance, "the pale double of the reflection looked at her tiredly and stunningly" should be "stunnedly," not "as long as she survived" but "if only she survived" or "if only," and "erase any memories" instead of "erase some memories" – but overall, there are very few of them), so I don’t intend to nitpick)) Wishing you further success!
airin-van11.02.2024, 23:43Hello :) The cover is atmospheric and matches the specified genre. The font is well-chosen, making it easy to read. The synopsis is intriguing and gives a clear idea of what to expect from the book. The author’s language is beautiful. From the very first chapters, Felicia is thrown into a whirlwind of events, which keeps the reader’s attention and makes you want to find out what tonight will bring for her. I’m curious about what will happen after the initiation, which she went through without even realizing it. Your atmospheric descriptions are wonderful and help to visualize what you’re reading. I wish you an endless supply of ideas for new books and many satisfied readers!
vasil-bundziak11.02.2024, 23:19Greetings from the marathon! The cover is beautiful, so dark and somewhat mystical - just right for a story about nocturnal beings, vampires, and werewolves. Very nice! The annotation is also quite intriguing, giving a sense of the direction the story will take. As for the plot itself, the beginning is somewhat ominous (I’m referring to the maid who was hiding in the castle and trying to escape from the soldiers). Moreover, it feels like there’s some connection between her and Felicia, even though it’s clear there’s a significant time gap between the two, and things didn’t end very well for the maid... Or maybe they didn’t end at all? The main character is written quite interestingly, with her emotions, thoughts, and experiences. It draws you in, and I’m not exaggerating. Wishing you inspiration!
viktoriia-gros11.02.2024, 02:08Hello from the marathon) The book cover is beautiful and promises that the book will be interesting. The summary is intriguing, making you want to open the book and start reading. I’ve read a few chapters. The beginning is engaging. The main character, with such a life, could even go crazy. Wishing you success with new works))
elevonda-evermont-elivedo03.02.2024, 19:15Greetings from the marathon I finished reading this book and have already added the next book in the series to my library. The annotation intrigued me, and it was the reason I wanted to read it. I'm curious about the heroine's visions and the many mysteries connected to the characters. The book ended in such a way that it makes you want to open the next part and find out what happens to the characters next. Wishing you success and inspiration
alen-stells01.02.2024, 11:57Greetings! A dark cover with a bright title)) this hints to me that it will be a somewhat dark story with a vivid plot)) the annotation is intriguing, even tempting, I would say;) When you start reading, shivers run down your spine from the eeriness)) I feel like I'm hiding among the castle walls from something dark. I like it when mysticism intertwines with the real world). The main character seems tired, and it's not so much physical exhaustion as it is the mysteries, thoughts, and dreams that torment her. It's clear that she wants to uncover the truth and trust herself and her feelings rather than common sense. The fact that she feels much more than her friend makes the girl special. She will probably cross paths again with those two strangers who scared her. The atmosphere in your book is very mysterious) A star for you, wishing you success and inspiration.
marina-titova30.01.2024, 01:16The new cover radiates mystery and a vampiric atmosphere (darkness is their best friend, after all) — and it also echoes the cover of the second book, which is a delight to the eye with its thoughtfulness) Wonderful! I eagerly started following the development of events in the second book, as the first one left a special aftertaste)
krapka27.01.2024, 17:55Hello)) So far, apart from the usual vampire story, I’ve noticed a few interesting details, though I’ve come across them in other books, manga, and fanfics as well... It’s hard to achieve uniqueness in this theme. However, the book captivates with its atmosphere, ease of reading, well-structured thoughts, and descriptions of emotions, which not everyone can pull off. I’ve added the work to my library and will read the continuation later)
katerina-fedorovska21.01.2024, 13:19Hello again! I finally finished reading the book to the end, it was impossible to stop :) The plot is captivating, and I really liked the unexpected twists (like the one about Xantria). It’s the first time I’ve read about vampires having children, and Felicia’s dreams are described so realistically. Sometimes it was hard to tell where the dreams ended and reality began. Overall, the book left a very positive impression! I sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to read something original and fascinating about vampires :) Well, and you ended the story at the most intriguing part :)) I assume this will be a series of works. Wishing you success and inspiration in writing it!
katerina-fedorovska21.01.2024, 00:33Congratulations on the marathon:))) I started reading your story, and I have a very positive impression:)) It's generally hard to write something original about vampires, but in my opinion, you manage to captivate the reader. I really liked how you reveal Felicia's feelings. It felt like I was experiencing everything with her. I read 8 chapters very quickly (even though only three were recommended for the marathon, haha:))) I devoured them without even noticing :))) And I'm sure that tomorrow I’ll finish reading to the end because I’m incredibly intrigued:)))
