About the book

He is Artem. She is Svitlana. But in the underground world they stumble into, their names take on a very different meaning. “Ar Temny” means the Dark Lord. “Svitla Lana” means a Bright One — a being of the Sky. And the Bright Ones are the sworn enemies of the Dark. Thus begins their absurd journey through Hell — a place where every word can be a sentence, and a name spoken by chance can become destiny. He’s a hero by accident. She’s a prisoner by misunderstanding. Together, they’re a hopeless duo who can’t seem to understand each other… and yet, perhaps, they’re falling in love. A humorous fantasy about how men and women see the world differently — and about love that hides behind the most ridiculous circumstances.

What a sneaky Abri. Probably has her eye on Artem too.

These two losers have been circling each other for 30 chapters and still can't figure out who loves whom. Though Artem is easily swayed by any girl who glances at him, he chases after her. Lana, be careful, maybe you don't need this?

IraSometimes it's hard to even understand yourself, and this is exactly that case. They see a childhood friend in each other and don't realize that their feelings have long since moved to another level.

Wow, what a grandma! She could suspect by smell that they’re not who they claim to be and poison the unwanted ones? I had a similar story: about 12 years ago, my husband was introducing me to his family. The meeting with his parents was on the 40th day after his grandfather’s passing (not exactly a celebration, right?). So, we sat, I got acquainted with relatives up to the 5th generation, and then we left. Suddenly, my mother-in-law calls and says, “Grandma is still alive, how could you not meet her? Come back on the weekend.” Well, we returned. As it turned out, Grandma was so full of life that even without a leg and being blind, she was shouting, “How are my chickens?” and “What about the weeds in the garden?” She was always rushing somewhere, and the relatives could barely keep up with her. So, they bring me to her, and she says, “I can’t see, but let me at least touch you.” She touched me, took a deep breath, and I’m just sitting there while she... “Sasha, do you smoke, or is it Natasha?” We’re like, “What are you talking about, Grandma?” (so as not to upset her). “Of course, it’s Sasha who smokes.” So, we came back again, I walk in, and she sniffs with her nose and says, “Oh, my granddaughter has arrived! I recognized you by your smell!”

The story ended with me not wanting to dive anymore, and the idea still didn’t work out. My brother kept making new boats over and over, while I lost faith in dragging that junk to the river. I said, if that crap actually floats, I’ll throw my best underwear into the river as a sign of our bet that this kayak won’t float with that chair. So, imagine my surprise when it actually floated and didn’t sink!!! My brother won the bet, and I lost my best underwear)))

hahaha, stinky river!) We have one like that too, called "Yellow River." Back in the day, Cossacks sailed on it, and now cows cross it on their way home and fill it with their pee ) so that’s the story where shampoo and gel didn’t help) I have a brother, and when he was a kid, he was a crazy inventor, always coming up with stuff, like making working gadgets out of junk. So, he found an old chair, and the main thing is that it was all red and had a soft seat. He decided to sail on this "throne," like Ivanko catching fish, and I’m telling it as it was... So, he had ships named Athena, Amelia, Victoria, Catherine. On Amelia, there was a construction made of plastic bottles in bags, tied together into a fortress! Well, my brother was little, just 12 years old, with skinny little arms, and he did it all himself. We dragged everything on a cart, he set up his chair, and off he sailed. The ropes came undone, and it was a total eco-disaster. My brother dragged the most valuable thing to shore - the chair, while I watched 150 plastic bottles float away with the current. So, what to do? Dive in, of course. After 2 hours of swimming in that cow pee, I climbed out and for two weeks, I really stank of sulfur and something sour. Plus, I broke out in spots and pimples, barely survived)

Natalia BochenkovaThank you! It was very fun to read the comment! Yes, real-life stories, either my own or those of close acquaintances, slowly creep into the book, it's no secret. And as for student (and not only student) years - one can reminisce and reminisce about them))) And write about them)))
