Abstract of the book "Demons, monks and other unreliable personalities"
One moment you’re living your perfectly normal life, expecting nothing out of the ordinary — and the next, some terrifying guy climbs out of your mirror, declares you ‘the Keeper,’ and drags you into his world. Doesn’t listen to your protests, just promises to protect you and off you go. And what can you do, really, when there are demons around who do eat people? Oh, and demons who don’t eat people — because they’re smart. Monk-like guys who look like Buddhist ascetics but follow some very strange path. One-armed heartthrobs who are so dangerously attractive they should come with a warning label. And that’s just the beginning. As for the kidnapper — he’s clearly hiding something, keeps dragging you into one adventure after another, commits the occasional theft, and dodges all your question

tetiana-gurkalo22.10.2023, 07:12Talina Liepa, they will freeze and get sick))
talina-liepa21.10.2023, 08:30Oh, how interesting) A conversation with a reflection, is that for a psychologist or a psychiatrist))) So relatable! (staring at my distorted reflection on the polished side of an electric kettle....)
olga-calbaeva-barsukova01.08.2023, 03:09Finally finished reading) Thank you, this story helped me fall asleep the whole time I was reading it.. Unlike the Stones.. It's a pleasure to read your works, wishing you inspiration!))

natalka-ceresnia27.06.2023, 23:50The story of the goddess is completely unexpected

natalka-ceresnia22.06.2023, 17:50Oh, how complicated love and relationships are for these demons. It's a real mess ))
tetiana-gurkalo22.06.2023, 19:32Natalka Chereshnya, but they are honest when they don't lie)) You can't expect anything in between from them.
natalka-ceresnia20.06.2023, 10:21Are these translations Marina writing an encyclopedia of the world? :))
tetiana-gurkalo20.06.2023, 11:10Natalka Chereshnya, more like collecting fables))
natalka-ceresnia18.06.2023, 18:25Marina, by any chance, didn't work as a black digger in the past?))
tetiana-gurkalo19.06.2023, 14:50Natalka Chereshnya, oh, I once picked out glass "crystals" from a torn bracelet, had somewhere to glue them))
natalka-ceresnia17.06.2023, 20:05Considering that I don't like books about transported characters, I quite like this particular heroine so far :) And the demon is interesting too :)
tetiana-gurkalo19.06.2023, 14:47Natalka Chereshnya, the third one is lying in ambush and, in general, is busy))
liudmyla-masliuk21.04.2023, 09:19Maybe in chapter 37, instead of "What's the point of falling when there's someone to throw?" it should be "when there's no one to throw?"
tetiana-gurkalo21.04.2023, 11:50Liudmyla Masliuk, thank you, you're right))
dijez-algo19.04.2023, 23:31Turned out great) I got a lot of pleasure!
tetiana-gurkalo20.04.2023, 01:02Iryna Zastavna, thank you))
asana18.04.2023, 10:03Thank you, it turned out to be a great story. Iliyen is wonderful, despite constantly lying.
katarina-oleksandrivna09.04.2023, 22:37I was a bit surprised that the chapter titles are woven into the text of the chapters themselves. Honestly, it looks a bit strange. But the text itself reads easily. Plus, the theme is right up my alley—humor, demons)) The story reminded me of one of my favorite mangas, but that’s just my personal association. I really liked that you divided the demons into higher and lower ones. The main character feels alive; with her emotional background, you quickly dive into the story and can’t tear yourself away. However, I have a question about "the one who keeps." Keeps what? Artifacts? The heart of the elements? What exactly does she keep? You could tie so many things to this. You explained the function she performs, but this part feels cut off. Perhaps in the future, this will be revealed from another perspective, and everything will be explained to us. Also, in my opinion, at the beginning when Deneen started the fight with the demon, I felt there wasn’t enough interaction during the battle. But that’s minor, since the genre is completely different. Overall, I liked it))
tetiana-gurkalo10.04.2023, 23:42Katarina Oleksandrivna, oh, I hope it’s not Inuyasha, or I’ll have to read it)) Although my monk is indeed half-Buddhist - a composite image of an exorcist from a funny 18+ manga and a hero who could turn into a cat from Lindsay’s book. And I don’t really understand how the demons are similar, besides the hand cut off by a brother. One is an elf aka Luke Skywalker, the other is a girl who crawled out of a mirror instead of a TV and read a bunch of Elizabeth Boye’s books)) The one who preserves - it’s more of a peculiar title and purpose. Even if she doesn’t actually preserve anything, she still has the gift, the gift of protecting ancient artifacts and sacrificing herself for them. The fight, seriously, I don’t always manage to describe them well, and here it’s also from Marina’s perspective, who doesn’t really understand fights, so that’s how it turned out. Thanks for the comment))
ania-osadcuk03.04.2023, 08:39And where is Illien wandering? He could have already joined the team.
tetiana-gurkalo04.04.2023, 21:40Anya Osadchuk, he's still a cat, running around somewhere))
