“Well, princess, did you run far enough?” “I hate you.” That’s how they met. Though their thoughts had been circling each other for a while, what united them first wasn’t love — it was irritation. Mutual hatred, mutual fire. But one look was enough to plant something deeper. Something dangerous. “A mangy mutt, even if he’s handsome,” she thought. “She’s a real piece of work — but damn, she’s gorgeous,” he thought. And who knows how this story will end? It started with one chasing and the other running. With both convinced they were right. With both certain that freedom is the most precious thing they have.
