Abstract of the book "Behind the Pink Glasses"
Anastasia, a young and talented photographer who works to pay for her studies at the University of Arts, sees her perfect life crumble when a mysterious stranger suddenly breaks into her reality. What she once believed to be an ideal marriage with Kevin, her beloved husband, turns into a dark maze of lies and betrayal. — “Who are you?” — “I’m the husband of your husband’s lover…” He arrives just as broken as she is, but with a meticulously crafted plan for revenge. This is a captivating narrative that explores the beauty of resilience and the possibility of finding rebirth in the midst of deep disillusionment.

mina20.01.2026, 16:14Your attention to worldbuilding is honestly incredible. Every part of the story feels full of purpose and excitement, and the depth of the lore makes it so easy to get lost in your world. The last chapter was impressive, and while reading, some ideas about the story came to mind that I’d love to share.
abby-jimenez15.01.2026, 18:45Alice, I really liked the contrast between the light tone and the emotional blow of the betrayal. Anastasia feels very real, especially in that fall from the “perfect” to the unexpected. I was curious to know… did you think of this story more as a grieving process or as a rebirth from the beginning?
norma-garcia10.01.2026, 20:53I find the novel very expensive for such a short story, in my humble opinion.

leymaya-guevara28.12.2025, 12:25It's a good story, but before putting it on subscription, you should edit it and correct errors like repeated texts and sentences, and the chronology. This is my humble opinion.

anyela24.08.2025, 19:43I think the story is too strange regarding its co-protagonists Kevin and Monica. For me, infidelity is infidelity regardless of whether it's a man or a woman, and I think both acted wrongly. Now, I believe both should have had a similar ending, not so cruel for one and so kind for the other, when both behaved terribly throughout the story. Honestly, it leaves me with a bittersweet feeling. As for the true protagonists, ten points.
leonor-ortiz05.08.2025, 13:16I loved this story full of humor and sarcasm… although I sometimes criticized it for finding it almost “an ode to infidelity,” I laughed my heart out… unfortunately for me, the only one who really paid for the infidelity was Kevin, and I find it unfair that Monica, the mistress, who did as much or more harm than Kevin, ended up as a heroine, with a settled life and almost the ideal protagonist and role model of this novel, unlike Anastasia and André. She even ended up with the friendship and unconditional support of Anastasia and Sofia… I practice sisterhood 100%, but I’m fair and not naive… and here Monica didn’t pay or lose a single bit; I’d even say her life improved, completely unlike Kevin’s, despite their equal “sin”… I was happy with Anastasia and André together as a family with their beautiful daughter… Sofia will live until the end of her days in eternal emotional exhaustion and distrust for maintaining her marriage due to her husband’s infidelities, who also didn’t get his “deserved scare,” unlike his advisor :) … I insist, it seems like Kevin paid for all the unfaithful men in the world, and Monica paid nothing… I find it unfair… Alice, I like how you write, and I actively follow you, wishing you success in your new projects❤
leonor-ortiz11.08.2025, 15:24Alice Vandecamp, Thanks to you and sorry for venting :) ... your wit and gift for writing won't disappoint... I will continue to follow you actively ;)
