-Obviously, she could have stood firm with her decision and said that it no longer concerned her and that it was Mich's turn, but she lacks decisiveness and, to top it all, "that's what she had to do as the wife." - And it bothers me even more because she was trying to fix things with Dan, even calling him, and he wouldn't answer or, as we saw, he simply told Abril, "Stop calling" ??

I'm on chapter 23 and I'm a sea of tears. Honestly, I find it a bit hypocritical, but yes, I just don't know how to say it. Literally, she didn't want to take care of Juan, even the doctor judged her, but it was understandable since she and he no longer had any relationship other than on paper. But what did the doctor say? That she was the wife. And what did the sister say? That she should do it for her daughters. She even helps Juan's partner with her pregnancy. Maybe it was wrong for her to hide things from Dan, yes, but the way he reacted was distrustful and not without reason, since he ended up leaving her without letting her give her side of the story. And then the sister comes and says she's disappointed, when she was one of the people who asked her to take care of him? With this, she had nowhere to go. And then the mother says to think about the family, that it's not the time to get divorced, that life isn't fair. Honestly, everyone???

Woooow, magnificent story from beginning to end. Two broken souls who, without thinking, found each other in the least likely place. Slowly learning to know each other with their fears and insecurities, healing each other’s wounds, and in the end, love brought them together again, never to be separated. A story that touches on a theme many women go through—physical and verbal abuse—from which many cannot escape, either because they don’t even have their own family’s support, and the fear of being alone is when these abusive men take advantage, committing undesirable and unforgivable acts.

kalei I don't like it when verbal and physical violence are normalized, it drives me up the wall, I hope to see a change in you, 190G.
