Mike is just a sweet bun, very kind, fair, I like that he told Alex how he feels and showed everything through his actions. We're driving back from San Diego to Los Angeles after a charity event marking the 14th and 22nd anniversaries. I finished reading this fairy tale on the road. If I were to share my impressions, besides admiration and gratitude, there’s another significant point I can’t keep silent about. The personality of the main character is so unique and crafted with such precision that it sparked an inner, I can’t quite find the right word, revelation perhaps, about my husband. I don’t see him as a deity, but compared to Michael, I felt sad. He clearly doesn’t measure up. )))))) Of course, I’m no Alex either, whom I was incredibly surprised by at the beginning of the book, to put it mildly.) And this wedding, these vows, these speeches by the buddies, and this epilogue... Thank you for the fairy tale ))

I immerse myself in the plot, in the lives of the characters, my imagination starts working, adding what is needed or not, emotions kick in, and that’s the only way I save myself. Plus, my grandchildren and the feeling that I can still be useful in retirement. Otherwise, it’s really not easy. War in our country. It’s the horror of our time. Thank you for your creativity.
