Abstract of the book "Against All Odds"
I fell in love for the first and only time when I was twenty-three. And for twelve damn years, I kept it hidden, torturing myself as I watched her being happy… with my best friend. She was happy — until his life was suddenly cut short. Now his family is my responsibility. But she’s still off-limits. Untouchable. Taboo. But what happens when one day… I can’t fight it anymore? And what if she responds to my weakness? There are only two ways this ends: with everything finally breaking apart — or with a second chance. For both of us. But how do I silence my own conscience… And how does she let me into her heart?

olesya-yurkovska19.02.2026, 02:47When I finished reading your second series for me, I was like: "I need a continuation about Olya and Platon." And, phew, there it is) Honestly, I cried a lot. The story really touched me. Somehow, I understood both the feelings of the main hero and the main heroine. Even after finishing, I can’t stop thinking: "and what if it hadn’t…" because I felt so much pain for Platon, even though his reputation influenced Olya’s thoughts. Once again: you are very talented! I’m off to read more of your works) Do you know what the main indicator of a well-written book is for me? I sit there and calm myself down: "shhh, it’s just a fictional story)" This is exactly that kind of story that felt very real while reading. I eagerly await your next gems✨
nataliia-olsevska20.02.2026, 19:58Olesya Yurkovska, You touched me with your feedback... This story made me repeatedly remind myself that I created it, but I couldn’t avoid tears and spikes in blood pressure)) Thank you sincerely❤️
halyna-shchyrba12.02.2026, 08:18I finished reading yesterday. I cried a little in the process.. Love through the years, devotion, tenderness, care, and love permeated the story completely. Also pain, loss, anger... a very emotional book. Thank you, Natalya ❤️

viktoriia-ducina10.12.2025, 10:13Wonderful book! I’ve already read many of your books, even though I didn’t comment on the previous ones. I’m glad I found you as an author. Moving on)))

liudmila-soltisiuk09.12.2025, 23:53Very interesting book! So lifelike and touching that it's impossible to put down. I cried and smiled, the love scenes are beautifully described—just a whole spectrum of emotions in one book! Platon is amazing! He communicates so well with the kids, and his parents deserve a separate "respect"! I'm glad that love triumphed, and I wish the author inspiration for creating new stories.
nataliia-olsevska10.12.2025, 16:22Lyudmyla Soltysiuk, I'm very glad that this book didn't disappoint you either) Thank you sincerely♥️
tania05.12.2025, 10:01Wonderful love story!!! It was so easy and emotional to read that I didn’t even notice how I reached the epilogue) Thank you! Wishing you inspiration for your future works!!!
nataliia-olsevska05.12.2025, 17:51Tanya, I'm very glad that you liked the book. Thank you ❤️
dijez-algo28.11.2025, 15:40Thank you, nice story. But the main character sometimes just annoys me))
nataliia-olsevska28.11.2025, 17:54Diez Algo, I really wanted to give her a good shake myself)) Thank you♥️
safo-meli03.11.2025, 23:55Sincerely thank you for the pleasant emotions. I spent several evenings with these wonderful characters with warm feelings!
nataliia-olsevska04.11.2025, 23:01Safo Meli, Perhaps, compared to my other "book" men, Artem is indeed a black sheep, but I hope he will redeem himself in your eyes. Thank you❤️
steisi-mur30.09.2025, 13:42May this book find its reader, touch hearts, and lead the author to new heights.
kris-tina23.08.2025, 22:29This is the book that made me cry, laugh, get angry at the main characters, and sometimes just dream of hitting them with something because of their stubbornness. But they evoked these emotions out of genuine love for them.
nataliia-olsevska23.08.2025, 22:41KRIS-TINA, We share similar emotions)) Thank you❤️

nataliia-barvinok23.07.2025, 23:23An incredible love story, hard-earned, with a 12-year maturation. It was Platon's persistence that became the key to happiness. I really admire the childish sincerity. Pavlyk is a golden child! "When I grow up, I want to be a boxer, just like grandma!" A partisan who unintentionally gave away all the passwords. The boys had a tough fate, but Platon became a real dad to them. Sofiyka is a true princess because she has two protectors. And the "first" mother-in-law will definitely get what she deserves. Thank you!
nataliia-olsevska24.07.2025, 01:56Nataliya Barvinok, How beautifully you spoke about endurance!) Sincerely grateful for sharing your impressions♥️ P.S. Pavlyk is my love in this story)**
tetiana23.07.2025, 15:19Thank you, great book. I got a bit nervous when Margarita appeared, but... I really liked it)
