Having barely escaped an abusive relationship, I fled to a remote village in the middle of nowhere. Falling in love again was the last thing on my mind — I was focused on work and preparing for university. But the landlord’s hot son burst into my quiet little world and turned all my plans upside down. Are we destined to be together? Or will our pasts refuse to let us go so easily?

I think the topic is very rewarding and necessary. Thank you for showing us the challenging side of disability. I believe we are still far from realizing how high the societal demand for such stories is.

I'm not knowledgeable in this area, so I read with great focus and fascination. However. Despite the pleasant language and the absence of errors, at least I didn’t notice any, inconsistencies occasionally caught my eye. At first, Maria spent almost 2 months at Aunt Halyna's—it was mentioned as the end of April, after which Yevhen appeared. And only some time later, for some reason, he was chopping wood? Although, perhaps, it was still cold in May, fair enough. But then, in total, 4 months passed, as stated in the text (living "soul to soul with the hostess"), yet the characters were admiring the spring greenery in the park, and at the end of the 9th chapter, there’s a mention of "summer soon" (though it should definitely have arrived by then, at least June). Honestly, when you write, it’s easy to lose track of such details. I understand that. So, from a reader’s perspective, for whom the story flies by much faster, I decided to point out moments that need adjustment. Nevertheless, the story is wonderful even with these minor inconsistencies. It teaches to run from abuse rather than endure it, shows physical flaws from different angles. And the ending! A special thank you for it. Honestly, I was already expecting one thing, but it turned out for the best.
