I understand that this is an automatic translation, and the expression "Russian stove" has been commonly used for stoves since the times of Rus'... but now, in our circumstances, such an expression from the main character’s mouth cuts painfully... Yes, I read your response to one of the comments about such expressions, that the work was written 10 years ago—back then, such an automatic translation probably didn’t hurt as much. But, in my opinion, it would be better to edit such moments...

I just started reading the book, the plot is certainly interesting, the atmosphere is well conveyed, but the attitude, whether it's specifically this character or the author in general, towards women is off-putting. Not my book. I love it when a story evokes a range of emotions, excitement. There was none of that here. Vulgar and predictable characters.
