About the book

Our contemporary, in an unknown way, finds himself in the body of a medieval prince. And at the moment he becomes the heir to an entire kingdom. But the poor guy doesn't know that he's not going to live the bohemian and carefree life of a king, but endless problems and dangerous adventures. Because the whole kingdom, including the castle, was mortgaged long ago by his late predecessor, and the creditors are about to come for the money.

I started reading with interest. And then... Chapter 14 "Near the big RUSSIAN stove"... I understand that this is an automatic translation, and the expression "Russian stove" has been commonly used for stoves since the times of Rus'... but now, in our circumstances, such an expression from the main character’s mouth cuts painfully... Yes, I read your response to one of the comments about such expressions, that the work was written 10 years ago—back then, such an automatic translation probably didn’t hurt as much. But, in my opinion, it would be better to edit such moments...

Sorry, I'm shouting))) To smell horse sweat for a whole day, you’d have to be a hybrid of a dog and a scent analyzer))) because even though it’s sharp when fresh, it disappears from the air very quickly and dissipates from the ground and grass. Now, if you leave an unwashed saddle pad somewhere for a couple of weeks, then you might actually smell something.

marovi, )) Are you okay with the rest? Then enjoy your reading. Because there's a lot more made up... Things that can't possibly happen. But if it's important to you - point out where - I'll fix it. Everything for the reader ))

I just started reading the book, the plot is certainly interesting, the atmosphere is well conveyed, but the attitude, whether it's specifically this character or the author in general, towards women is off-putting. However, it's clear that many people like it, so I wish you inspiration for new books.

Not my book. I love it when a story evokes a range of emotions, excitement. There was none of that here. Vulgar and predictable characters.

Svetlana LyashukPerhaps you should go to the department of women's romance novels, where only women write positive reviews.

Interesting. I haven't read fantasy by a male author yet. Usually, men write space or thriller genres.
