Abstract of the book "A Beautiful Voice"
At my age back then, I thought I had problems. I didn’t give them much importance, but when I met him, I realized that there is always someone worse off than you. Running away from something sounds drastic, but losing two very precious things almost at the same time is horrible. Especially when one of them has been with you your whole life and is absolutely necessary. From what I can see, I’ll have to stay here for much longer, and inevitably, I will see him every day. In the mornings and at night, he will be in front of me. Perhaps I need to learn to decipher his silences and fight fire with fire. It’s one of the few I’ve read with this theme of a romance between two people where one of them has a disability. A complicated and wonderful challenge. It reminds us that relationships of this kind are more than common in real life... I really liked the way it showed how, over time and thanks to small grains of sand, both protagonists further strengthened the relationship they already had, all to turn it into something much better. It feels very accurate to our reality in my opinion, because love isn’t always nerves and feelings of restlessness; rather, it’s tranquility and fulfillment. I loved the concept given to that feeling in the story. It’s not tedious reading; if I could have, I would have finished the book in one day hahaha. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing the book. I’m off to the second part, congratulations!
