Prologue

...And so our people lived in joy under the light of the Sun and the glow of the Moon, as the seasons turned one after another, and the Earth generously bestowed her bounty upon all. There were no poor or wronged among us. Everyone rejoiced in Life equally. But one day, our Ancestors saw a brilliant Star in the Sky, growing ever closer, until it flared with a blinding light and roared like Thunder. The Children of the Earth hid among the rocks and dense forests, fearing that the Star would burn everything in its path. Yet the Children of the Water summoned Rain, and the flames were quenched. When the Fire subsided, the Ancestors discovered strange beings amidst the charred remains. Some of them had perished, and their blood stained the Earth. The Ancestors marveled at the color of that blood, for it was red, like the Sky at sunset... But some of the newcomers survived. The wisest Elders approached to examine these peculiar creatures and asked, "Do you speak our Tongue? Who are you, and from where have you come to us?" Yet the strangers stood silent and voiceless, unable to understand the language of our Ancestors. After a moment of thought, the Elders declared, "You are not like us. Though we may look alike on the outside, in truth, you are different." And from that day forward, everyone began to call them by that name...
